The Sage Awards

The Sage Awards

The Sage Awards is an annual dinner and award ceremony recognizing individuals who embody the best of our senior years. This fundraising event for the Council on Aging honors those aged 60 or better who continue to lead purposeful lives well into their senior years by offering their experiences, professional skills and compassionate hearts to benefit others.

Proceeds from the Sage Awards support comprehensive support and programs for seniors provided by the Council on Aging of Martin County. These safety-net services include Meals on Wheels, adult day health care, comprehensive case management, crisis support, caregiver counseling and education, memory enhancement, and more.

Each year we honor and present the following awards:

  • The Chairman's Award
  • The Charlie Kane Award
  • The Community Service Award

Awards in the following sphere of endeavors:

  • Arts & Culture
  • Health Science & Medicine
  • Education
  • Military & Veteran Support
